What is the maximum weight for riding a Vässla Scooter?
Vässla Scooter is weight tested for 175 kg. It means that it will do what it's supposed to with a load up to 175 kg.
What is the total weight of the Vässla Scooter?
65 kg.
What is the battery range?
The battery has a range of 40-60 km.
How do I charge the battery?
Leave the battery inside the Vässla and charge through the outside connector or take the battery out and charge directly on the battery connector. Wall power outlet with 220V min. 10A.
Where is the battery placed?
The battery is placed underneth the sadel. Your scooter is delievered with one battery but there is room for another battery if you like to drive for longer distances.
What kind of tires does the Vässla Scooter have?
The scooter has so called all year round tires that you can drive with all year, all seasons.
What motor does the Vässla Scooter have?
A powerful 1800W motor.
What is the weight of the battery?

How fast can I go with my Vässla Scooter?
The motor allows a speed of 45 km/h.
Can I ride Vässla Scooter in bike lanes?
Vässla Scooter are classified as a scooter and are not allowed to drive in the bike lanes.
How is the battery performance in cold weather conditions?
Our batteries contains lithium cells that are not a big fan of the cold. It is the single most performance reducing parameter. Since the battery is portable we recommend that you bring the battery inside. If you keep the battery inside your scooter in cold weather conditions for longer periods the cells in your battery can get affected and the battery could stop working.
Can I turn off the headlight?
No, the headlight is always on due to safety reasons.
Is Vässla Scooter 100% electric?
Yes, all our vehicles are 100% electric.
How many passengers can I bring on a Vässla Scooter?
Except yourself as the driver you can bring one more passenger on the scooter.

The Club
What is Vässla Club?
Vässla Club is our club, including all members that subscribe to Vässla today.
What membership can I choose from?
You can choose between 3 different memberships: Urban Flex (1 month commitment period), Urban Pro (6 months commitment period) or Urban Pro 12 (12 month commitment period). Your membership will be renewed automatically unless you cancel, in accordance with our terms and conditions.
What's included in my membership?
Everything you need! Your own Vässla vehicle, helmet, lock, insurance, maintenance and service at no extra cost.
Is there an age limit for subscribing to Vässla Club?
Yes, you need to be at least 18 years old to subscribe to Vässla. Please be prepared to show your ID at delivery, and if you're under 18 you will be charged with a fine equal to the amount of the first payment of your subscription.
Can I test ride before subscribing?
Yes you can test ride you Vässla before subscribing. Check the test ride page for locations.
What is a difference between the subscription plans, Flex, Pro 6 and Pro 12?
Flex gives you the flexibility to cancel whenever you want, you just need to inform our customer service 14 days prior to the end of your subscription month. With Pro 6 and Pro 12 you agree to be with us for 6 or 12 months. For Pro 6 you need to cancel your subscription at the latest 30 days prior to the end of your subscription and 14 days prior to the end of your subscription for Pro12 if you do not want your subscription to be renewed automatically.
Is there a possibility to buy a bike if I like it?
Yes there is a possibility to buy the bike after 12 or 24 consecutive months of subscription. Price of the bike is set according to the value of a new product plus value of insurance maintenance, minus payments you made. Reach out to us at hi@vassla.com and we will help you.
Is there a possibility to buy it straight away for the standard price?
For Sweden: Yes! There is possibility to buy please click here. Rest of the world: There is currently no possibility to buy this product straight away in your country.
For how long can I subscribe to Vässla?
You can continue your subscription with us for as long as you want.
After my subscription runs out (Pro 6 or Pro 12), can I change vehicles?
Of course we will be happy to provide you with a new vehicle.

How can I get in contact with support?

Do I need to wear helmet?
Yes! You need to wear a helmet because... safety first!
What happens if my Vässla get stolen?
Don't panic! You need to contact us at hi@vassla.com, to give us some information, report the theft to the police and issue a police report, then attach the police report. After that, we will replace your Vässla. In case of theft there will be a theft fee for your vehicle, you can read more about this in our terms and conditions.
What should I do if my Vässla needs to get repaired?
You should email us at hi@vassla.com describe the issue and then we will send you an email to book a date and time for the repair.
If my battery stops working, can I get a new one?
Just relax. The battery has a deep-sleep-mode that increases the life-span of the battery. To wake the battery just hold the ON-button in ca 3 seconds to wake the battery again. And yes you can get a new battery if your current one stops working but only if you are a subscribing member.
Can I use any lock to lock my Vässla?
Yes you can, but we recommend you to use the lock provided by us since it is the most secure one. You can always use more than one lock.
How can I prevent my Vässla getting stolen?
You can prevent your Vässla from being stolen by locking it with the lock provide by us, not leaving the battery inside and parking it at a safe spot.
If my subscription is Pro 6, can I change it to Pro 12 and vice-versa?
You can always change from Pro 6 to Pro12 by contacting our customer service but change from PRO12 to PRO6 is not possible.
Payment & cancellation
When is the deposit charged?
The deposit is charged at the beginning of your subscription period and you can find the current deposit fees on our website. We reserve the right to deduct any occurring fines or fees such as maintenance fees for damages beyond normal wear and tear, theft or no-show fees from the deposit. If no such fees have occurred during your subscription period we will refund your deposit after the subscription has been terminated and your vehicle has been returned. If you have a Flex subscription, the set up fee will be deducted from the deposit during the sign-up.
When can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription one month before the end of your subscription period is over. If you're an Urban Flex member you can cancel 2 weeks before the end of your subscription.
How can I cancel my subscription?

How often will I be charged for my subscription?
You will get charged on a monthly basis, on the same date you signed-up with us.
What happens when my subscription period is finished?
The subscription will get renewed automatically. If you wish to cancel your subscription you can email us at: hi@vassla.com
How can I update my payment details?
You email us at hi@vassla.com and we will send you a link where you can update your payment details.
If I choose a Flex plan, pay the starting fee and cancel , do I need to pay the start fee again if I come back at some point?
Yes, start up fee is to cover the delivery and preparation of your product for the current usage time.
Do I pay a fee whenever I cancel my subscription?
You do not pay a fee if you cancelled according to the cancellation conditions for your plan here you can find more (link to cancellation policy).
What happens if I get fined?
The customer is responsible for the fines and must cover the cost of these fines.
What if I decide that the vehicle does not suit me?
Good news! You have 14 days to try the vehicle and decide if that suits you. If the vehicle does not fit you, you can contact us on hi@vassla.com within 14 days and return the product. we will only charge you the set up fee and for days you use the vehicle.
