The battery has an asissted range up to 62 miles, but you can of course keep cycling without assistance even if it runs out. *Note that exact range varies with a number of factors.

Vässla Pedal is built on a single-gear system. The well integrated electrical power-system makes gears obsolete. You do have three modes of assistance, how much is your choice!

It's a simple, just push a button in the app and use the bike lock provided with your subscription. The Battery is also locked with a regular key.

Easy! Just unlock your battery and detach it. Charge it with your charger in any electrical outlet. Just like you would with a phone or computer. 

Our batteries contain lithium cells, these are not big fans of freezing temperatures. Since the battery is portable we recommend that you bring it inside when the temperature is low. Warning: If you keep the battery inside your Vassla Pedal in cold weather conditions for longer periods the cells in your battery can get affected and the battery could stop working.

Vässla Pedal has wide, high quality 24x2,5 inch tires, made to endure all seasons. Smart detail: the side of the tires are reflective for great visibility in the dark.

The Vassla Club is the community of individuals who currently enjoy the use of Vassla products.

You can choose between four different memberships: Urban Flex, Urban 6, or Urban 12. Urban Flex (1 month commitment period) Urban Pro 6 (6 months commitment period) Urban 12 (12 month commitment period). Your membership will be renewed automatically unless you cancel, in accordance with our terms and conditions. See the different subscription plans here [link].

Yes, you need to be at least 18 years old to subscribe to Vässla. Please be prepared to show your ID at delivery, and if you're under 18 you will be charged with a fine equal to the amount of the first payment of your subscription.

Yes you can test ride you Vässla before subscribing. Check the test ride page for locations.

Flex gives you the flexibility to cancel whenever you want, you just need to inform our customer service 14 days prior to the end of your subscription month. With Pro 6 and Pro 12 you agree to be with us for 6 or 12 months. For Pro 6 you need to cancel your subscription at the latest 30 days prior to the end of your subscription and 14 days prior to the end of your subscription for Pro12 if you do not want your subscription to be renewed automatically.

Currently, there is no possibility to buy this product straight away in your country.

You can continue your subscription with us for as long as you want.

Of course we will be happy to provide you with a new vehicle.

Don't panic! You need to contact us at hi@vassla.com, to give us some information, report the theft to the police and issue a police report, then attach the police report. After that, we will replace your Vässla. In case of theft there will be a theft fee for your vehicle, you can read more about this in our terms and conditions.

You should email us at hi@vassla.com describe the issue and then we will send you an email to book a date and time for the repair.

Just relax. The battery has a deep-sleep-mode that increases the life-span of the battery. To wake the battery just hold the ON-button in ca 3 seconds to wake the battery again. And yes you can get a new battery if your current one stops working but only if you are a subscribing member.

Yes you can, but we recommend you to use the lock provided by us since it is the most secure one. You can always use more than one lock.

You can prevent your Vässla from being stolen by locking it with the lock provide by us, not leaving the battery inside and parking it at a safe spot.

Yes there is a possibility to buy the bike after 12 or 24 consecutive months of subscription. Price of the bike is set according to the value of a new product plus value of insurance maintenance, minus payments you made. Reach out to us at hi@vassla.com and we will help you.

You can always change from Pro 6 to Pro12 by contacting our customer service but change from PRO12 to PRO6 is not possible.

You can cancel your subscription one month before the end of your subscription period is over. If you're an Urban Flex member you can cancel 2 weeks before the end of your subscription.

You will get charged on a monthly basis, on the same date you signed-up with us.

Yes, start up fee is to cover the delivery and preparation of your product for the current usage time.

You do not pay a fee if you cancelled according to the cancellation conditions for your plan here you can find more (link to cancellation policy).

The customer is responsible for the fines and must cover the cost of these fines.

Good news! you have 14 days to try the vehicle and decide if that suits you. If the vehicle does not fit you you can contact us on hi@vassla.com with 14 days and return the product. we will only charge you the set up fee and for days you use the vehicle.
